At familea, quality is no coincidence - it is the result of commitment, reflection and the will to grow together. The second training day on the topic of educational and learning stories (BULG) focused on precisely this: the consistent further development of our pedagogical practice.
On March 21, 2025, more than 560 employees from familea daycare centers came together at the Congress Center Basel to further deepen their knowledge of the learning stories method. Annika Butters from the Marie Meierhofer Institute in Zurich led the day and provided new impetus for day-to-day work with children with a practical expert input.
The focus was not only on methodological issues, but above all on the attitude underlying the learning stories: Accompanying children attentively, seeing their strengths, shaping relationships. In small groups, participants reflected on, discussed and collected information on how BULG can be used as a tool to strengthen self-awareness and participation.
The training day provided a valuable opportunity to sharpen our own focus, learn from each other and work together on a unifying pedagogical approach.
In-house training is part of our understanding of quality at familea - because only with shared knowledge and shared values can we give children the space they deserve.
Thanks to everyone involved for this insightful day - we look forward to putting it into practice!
