From November 1, 2024, we warmly welcome the former Familycare daycare centers to familea. Together, we are strengthening childcare and supporting families in Basel.
On October 24, 2024, the familea Center for Foster Children hosted an evening of exchange and dialogue on all aspects of foster care. With an inspiring contribution from Prof. Dr. Klaus Wolf and a lively panel discussion, the focus was on the needs of foster children and the balance between families of origin and foster families.
Visit us from October 17 to 19, 2024 at the Basel Vocational and Further Education Fair and get to know familea and the professions of childcare assistant and social pedagogy at our stands.
From January 1, 2025, familea will continue to run the Familycare Basel daycare centers. Jobs and daycare places will be retained, while the high quality of care and educational services will be guaranteed. familea is looking forward to continuing its services for families and the reconciliation of family and career.
The Horburgpark and Wiesenschanze daycare centers celebrated their 100th anniversary together with a colorful party full of fun, games and unforgettable experiences for young and old!
15.03.2024 marked an important milestone for all familea daycare centers when they gathered for the first time for an in-house training day at the renowned Theater Basel. The event kicked off with a captivating lecture on "Early Language Education", presented by Annika Butters from the prestigious Marie Meierhofer Institute in Zurich. In the afternoon, the theory presented during the lecture was put directly into practice.
