On January 24, 2025, over 560 employees from all familea daycare centers met at the Congress Center Basel to discuss the topic of educational and learning stories (BuLG) in depth. Annika Butters from the Marie Meierhofer Institute in Zurich gave an inspiring presentation on the basics and methodology of learning stories.
It was particularly pleasing to welcome the eight new daycare centers that have been part of familea since November. In this context, they were introduced to the new approach of educational and learning stories (BULG), which is to be discovered and deepened together. At the same time, the day offered experienced employees the opportunity to contribute their expertise and actively support the practical tasks.
In the afternoon, the teams worked intensively on deepening the educational and learning stories within their respective daycare centers. With a specific assignment, they reflected on how BULG can be implemented even more consciously and practically in everyday daycare. This approach should enrich the educational work and provide new impetus for the children's development.
