Last Wednesday evening, parents and children alike gathered in the picturesque garden of Kita Theodor to celebrate the Festival of Lights together. The children's shining eyes betrayed their anticipation as each child proudly presented their self-made lantern.
The evening began with the collective singing of "Ich geh mit meiner Laterne", followed by an atmospheric walk around the school building. On the way, spontaneous singing interludes were heard, accompanied by the cheerful children's songs of "Zimmetstärn", which sounded through a small but effective loudspeaker.
However, the real surprise awaited the participants in the schoolyard square: the Steinberg shone in festive splendor, decorated with twinkling lights, owls and bats. A girl played magical sounds on the violin while everyone joined in the lantern song.
The cozy atmosphere of the evening culminated in a chocolate trail and punch tea, where the participants warmed up in warm company and enjoyed the evening to the full. An unforgettable festival of lights that not only chased away the darkness, but also filled the hearts of Kita Theodor with joy and togetherness.
