Katharina and her husband have been foster parents for children who need a new home for over 22 years. She loves her job as an SOS foster family as well as a long-term foster mother and finds it very rewarding. She particularly appreciates the exchange and support in the foster family groups.
As an experienced long-term foster mother, Katharina has gained a lot of experience and is available to advise other foster parents. Thanks to the many ups and downs she has experienced with her foster children, she knows how important it is to give them love and security.

M.P., single, has taken in a foster child from a relative and receives advice from the familea Center for Foster Children (ZPK) in order to be able to devote himself to this task in the best possible way.
Christof (55) Deacon, married
Foster father of 2 boys who live permanently with the family.
Christof is the foster father of two brothers who have been living permanently with him and his wife for over 12 years. As they were unable to have any biological children of their own, they decided to offer two foster children a loving home.
In this way, they experience the joys of raising children and make a valuable contribution to society. Christof is also actively involved in the foster family group and supports other foster parents in word and deed.

Weekend and vacation foster mother
Sarah recently took in a four-year-old foster child to relieve the family of origin at weekends and during the vacations. She has already built up a good bond with the child and enjoys the 2 child-friendly weekends per month.
Her own family has also warmly welcomed the foster child and the weekends are now definitely more colorful and varied.
