There have been many changes and innovations at the Center for Foster Children recently. Due to the request of many foster parents, a forum was organized to get to know each other better and to exchange questions and suggestions.
Four blocks of topics were presented on display walls, and small teams were on hand to answer questions in person.
Four different blocks of topics were presented at the event, including personalized profiles of staff members, the new accompaniment modes and how they specifically affect foster families, and opportunities for foster parents to participate more in decision-making and contribute their experiences by serving as "ambassadors." Additionally, there was a brainstorming wall where foster parents could discuss their questions, issues, and suggestions. Various small teams were available to answer questions in person.
Over 30 foster parents took part in the event The mood was consistently positive and benevolent. During the Apéro Riche, the exchange was actively continued. The next networking meeting is planned for May, and the Center for Foster Children looks forward to honoring the great efforts of all foster parents. There is still a lot to do, but with joint effort and the will to work together, a good basis is ready.
